This mini broodmare is bound to have her foal someday. First thing I thought of when I took this photo was "this mare seems to be posing for a nude photograph" but I did spend about 3 hours in the full Texas summer :)

Actually, she was just rubbing her belly on the ground between rolls :) So don't go off on me about not helping her up from collapsing from her weight :)

Camera: Canon Digital Rebel XTi, 70-200mm Zoom, UV Filter
DPP: Tone Curve, White Balace, RGB Curve, Luminance and Chroma noise reduction
PS: Crop, "fly spray," "a good brushing," RGB Curve again, Unsharp 300

EDIT: See, I thought my picture looked like a nude photo =D [link] (of course its mature lol)

Aww poor thing. I used to play with a mini gelding that looked just like that. His name was Mo. She is a very pretty mare.

How IS the weather down there? xD I've been up here in Chicago all month and It's been feeling goooood with the 75-85 degree weather! As soon as it hits 90 degrees people start dying and complaning! xD I just sit there and laugh, not even breaking a sweat! :D

You're right, it does look like she's posing, now you pointed it out xD I just thought it looked like she was trying to force it out :D Go clean that dirty mind of yours, Taylor! :giggle:

Horses do so some pretty unique things sometimes. lucky break that you managed to catch this. It looks really great. Consider it fav'd.

Forecasted high for today was 102F, right now its 97F, heat index of 105F, tomorrow its supposed to get to 102F too with an index of 110F. I wish I could say the same, its getting to the point where I sweat if I just go outside under the shade :)

Heh, I though about cutting out the background, give her some dramatic lighting, a spotlight on her belly if you will :) It would be a parody of the dramatic BW nude shots and some possible underlying messages to go along with it =D All thought up while standing and baking in the heat :)
